This pretty much sums up what the Japanese will be doing in December of 2014 when they realize all the 89 R32's are gone

Just wait until the 33 and 34 are legal. You think it's hard to find a good one now. If I were in the market for one, I'd track it down now and keep it with some friends I have in rural Japan. I know a guy with a E30 Sport Evolution he's had a friend take care of for a few years in Germany, waiting for it to become legal in a couple years.
I'm pretty close to jumping on a running but tired C10 Skyline (finding a mint one is an exercise in constant sticker shock).

Yeah, I think what will happen is that some guy will import a shit load of 89's to canada...if they havent already, then blast the market in the a$$hole with them once the "magical day" hits. I just think that alot of japanese people are going to look around the streets and wonder where all their skylines went... then wonder why americans are so hard up to go after a 25 year old used car that usually fetches less than 5K in Japan and then pay nearly double that to have it imported with the hopes that it will make it across the border, assuming it entirely stock (unlikely) and some reports I have read is that even though its in the country and 25y/o you can only drive it 2500 miles a year.

The R34 is my favorite. I wouldn't go through the trouble of importing it (my wife would metaphorically kill me) but I'd make an effort to drive one once imported.
That said, if there were one imported like this, I'd strongly consider buying it:
Though I'd find a way to put the sedan/coupe's taillights on it.
